Laser frenectomy treatment uses a laser to release tight oral tissues causing tongue and lip ties in infants and children. Tongue and lip tie release procedures may be indicated for infants struggling with nursing or taking a bottle as well as toddlers and older children with speech or feeding concerns due to these oral restrictions.

Laser frenectomy treatment allows oral ties to be released in the office using localized numbing, without sedation or general anesthesia. Parents are able to be present with their children during the treatment. Myofunctional therapy will be offered at the office to help support children as needed with their laser tongue and lip tie releases.
